Hello Competitors

Here's a little information about some of the photos in this gallery. First, be sure to click on an image to display it on the right, and then click it again to open it up full screen to really see the photo. Because some of them were taken with a wide angle lens to capture the whole group in one photo, I've cropped them as 2:1 (similar to Facebook profile photo shape) and 3:1 ratios so that they display well without a lot of empty space.

If you do want to print them, rather than use them for web display, you should order panoramic sized prints to match those ratios. For example a 2:1 ratio would match a 4x8 print, and a 3:1 ratio would match a 5x15 print. If you have any questions at all about this, please ask! I'd be happy to help.

Group Competition

Thank you for choosing Windermere Studios as Official Photographer for the 2016 Canadian Baton Championships. It was a pleasure photographing the competition. All photos are available for download directly from these galleries. Specialty print products can be purchased as well.
We captured a wide variety of images of each competitor, changing angles and focal lengths, as well as a mixture of stop action and motion blur. We believe we have captured both the athleticism and the grace of your sport.
