Jan. 3, 2005 : Lamp Posts at dusk
Jan. 6, 2005: High Key Kelso. Went out in the beginnings of a blizzard to find some shots in the yard. Kelso followed, and this is my favorite of the bunch. The background (snow covered ground) is completely blown, but in this case I like it that way.
Jan. 8, 2005: Pileated Woodpecker. A pair have been visiting sporadically. Luckily today was a day that they visited and I was able to capture one of them.
Jan. 10, 2005: Whitetail Buck. The deer have been emptying our bird feeders over night. This fellow was kind enough to pay a visit in the daylight. He is listening as I try to sneal closer to him.
Jan. 11, 2005: Coyote. This fellow was sneaking around the house, past the feeders to the front yard. I caught him from my dining room window. I suspect he was following cat scent.
Jan. 12, 2005: Squaky Jay. A family of 5 jays rotate through the feeder. They were arguing with a magpie over right of way.
Jan. 14, 2005: Friday night, long, cold week. A nice fire, a glass of wine, a time to relax.
Jan. 20, 2005: Freezing rain on mugo pine. Rained all night even though it was below freezing. As the temp dropped the rain turned to snow.
Jan. 21, 2005: Wagon wheels, snow and sunshine.
Jan. 23, 2005: Fence posts in twilight.
Feb. 3, 2005: Still life with oranges.
Feb. 8, 2005: Kitty love
Feb. 9, 2005: Frosty Sunrise.
Feb. 10, 2005: Bottles at BP
